Canal Street divides the Central Business District and the French Quarter.

The famous Preservation Hall doesn't look like much from the outside.
This is a closer shot of the front of Preservation Hall. We did listen to the St. Peter's Street All Stars on Sunday night, but I didn't take any photos.
I did take a photo of Fritzel's New Orleans Jazz Band playing at Fritzel's European Jazz Pub the night before. I'm not sure what the exact relationship is between the band and the club.
This is an interesting art shop in the French Quarter. The back of the shop opens into a courtyard where additional art is displayed. They must hustle when ever it starts raining!
This was our room at the Loews. We had a room on the 19th floor with a nice view of the river.
Apparently, even Fluffy and Rover can eat in style at the Loews!

For some reason, there was a parade heading north on Canal Street late in the afternoon on Monday. They were even tossing out beads.

We rode the St. Charles Streetcar to the Garden District. There was a car accident that forced everyone to change streetcars.
